COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is thrilled to welcome you back to the theatre for the return of indoor programming. In order to provide the safest experience possible for our patrons and company members, we are complying with all CDC, State, County, and City guidelines and will be updating our protocols regularly to reflect changes in these policies. Changes to our practices will be communicated on this page and will be sent in reminder notices regarding your tickets.

All of our performers, crew members, musicians, and staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and our venue is cleaned daily in accordance with CDC guidelines. In addition, our HVAC system utilizes an upgraded filtration system and does not recirculate air. Instead it is set to constantly refresh using outside air.

PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR ADMITTANCE:

Upon arrival, all audience members are required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (defined as 14 days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine) or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within the previous 72 hours.

Proof of vaccination can include:

  1. Your physical CDC COVID-19 Vaccination card.

  2. A clear photo of both sides of your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination card.

  3. Digital record of COVID-19 vaccination (can be acquired through https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov)

Patrons must also provide government-issued photo identification when presenting their proof of vaccination.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED

Current Ventura County guidelines require all individuals to wear masks at public indoor gatherings regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be required indoors at all time during your visit, including while seated for the performance. Masks may be removed only when eating or drinking in designated areas. Food and drink are not allowed inside the theatre. Masks will be available onsite for patrons who may need one.

Patrons who do not provide proof of vaccination or negative test or refuse to wear a mask while indoors will not be allowed inside the venue and will be asked to leave.

If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your visit, or been instructed to self-isolate within the last 10 days, we ask that you stay home and contact us, when possible, to discuss ticket refund or exchange options.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, you automatically assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Due to the ever changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the event status is subject to change. If for some reason we cannot gather safely and an event must be cancelled or postponed, you will be notified of your options at that time. Thank you for your continued support of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center!
