Tickets are now on sale for The Pageturners: The Search For The Source, an original play that has been crafted over a seven week long summer theater camp by the students themselves.  The Pageturners: The Search For The Source  will play on August 2 & 3, 2024 on the Main Stage at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center.

The Pageturners: The Search For The Source is an original production created and performed by the students of SVCAC’s Young Artists Playground (YAP) Summer Theater Program. This year’s production is a sequel to The Pageturners play created at last summer’s YAP camp.

After saving Mandy’s sister from being permanently stuck in the middle of a storybook in the library last year, our young heroes along with a new team of agents and recruits once again find themselves smack dab in the middle of another madcap adventure into the fantasy realm. In this sequel, a massive rift is spreading over the fictional fairy tale realms. Beloved and iconic storybook characters are finding themselves in the wrong books! Along with the threat of permanent damage to these cherished stories, our collection of famous characters could be lost forever.  Luckily there is an organization designed by kids dedicated to keeping the fictional fairy tale realms alive and thriving by reading more books, inspiring more kids to read, and doing anything necessary to preserve the integrity of those books, their characters and their realms. They must hurry and find the source of the book switching before it is too late! The Pageturners: The Search For The Source promises to be fun for the entire family in this all new original adventure!   Tickets are $15 for Adults, $12 for Seniors, Students and Children. Please note there is an additional $2 per ticket surcharge on all ticket sales both online or in person.
